DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO RIFT GALLERY IN RINCONADA

From the Albuquerque Airport, take I-25 NORTH to Santa Fe, about 60 miles. Take the 599 Relief Route in Santa Fe. At the end of 599, stay in the left lane and follow the Taos/Espanola signs. Highway 84/285 will take you through Tesuque and Pojaque to Espanola, about 20 miles. In Espanola, continue going straight (do not follow 84/285 which forks to the left to Abiquiu) towards Taos. You will be on Highway 68, and will drive about 22 miles, through Velarde and Embudo, with the Rio Grande on your left.

The gallery is adjacent to the SOUTHWEST STONEWORKS, the stoneyard in RINCONADA, between mile markers 22 and 23 on the east side. If you go to Pilar, you have gone too far.

Just before the gallery/stoneyard are the EMBUDO VALLEY HEALTH CENTER and the VOLUNTEER FIRE STATION. Please DO NOT park in front of the fire station. Park in the designated area of the Embudo Valley Health Center parking lot, and walk over to the gallery/stoneyard.

Total driving time from the Albuquerque Airport is between two and two and a half hours, depending on traffic. From Santa Fe, travel time is about one hour. Rental cars are available at the Albuquerque Airport.

If you are coming from Taos, travel south on Paseo del Pueblo Sur, which becomes Highway 68. Go straight to Rinconada, the next town after Pilar. Travel time is about 25-45 minutes, depending on your starting point. The gallery/stoneyard is on your left.
