Student Scholarship Application 2026
If you are under 30 years old and would have difficulty paying the full tuition, you are invited to apply for a full scholarship for either of our stone carving sessions - 1. May 23-29, 2026 or 2. August 22-28, 2026 - or for a scholarship to one of the Mini-Workshops. Each scholarship recipient will attend one workshop.
Scholarship applicants can be total beginners! No experience is necessary, just a strong willingness to learn.
The stone carving scholarship (for full tuition to a seven-day course), includes instruction, a cubic foot of limestone, and the use of hand tools (hammer and chisels) during the week. The class is held outside. Each student has a covered work area and a work table.
Each student is exposed to the various skill levels of the other students in a supportive and friendly environment. Each participant works on their own project with plenty of personal instruction along the way.
We offer this scholarship to introduce a young person to the world of stone carving and working with one’s hands in the hope that this experience will serve them throughout their lives. The student will be working alongside other participants who will be eager to assist with their learning process.
Scholarships to the Mini-Workshops include all materials and tools you will need during any given class.
Please submit your application by March 18, 2026 at 11:59pm. Applications received after this date will be considered only if openings remain for additional slots.
Thank you for your interest.
